Sri Moreshwar Pradhan’s eldest son was once seriously ill. During this period Telangi Shastri was staying with Sri Moreshwar Pradhan. He was a Datta upasak and he was against Baba’s worship by Sri Moreshwar Pradhan. He advised Sri Pradhan to shun Baba’s worship in his house and start worshipping Datta Guru totally. Sri Pradhan told him that Sai Baba was Dutta. Telangi Shastri told Sri Pradhan that if Baba is Datta then his child must start drinking milk in the next five minutes. He would then agree with Pradhan. Further if the child gets well by tomorrow, Shashti would visit Shirdi and seek Baba’s darshan and offer Rupees one hundred and twenty-five as Dakshina. Firstly, the child drank milk in the next five minutes and started recovering from next day. Once the child recovered fully Shastri visited Shirdi, sought Baba’s darshan and offered Rupees One hundred and twenty-five as promised. In the late afternoon of the said day Baba asked Sri Sastri to offer five Rupees Dakshina again. Madhav Rao Deshpande who was present there asked Sai Baba that Sri Sastri has already offered Baba Rupees One hundred and twenty-five as Dakshina in the morning. Baba why seek Rupees five from him now. Baba Said “Yes in the morning he offered Rupees one hundred twenty to his Datta and not me. Shastri offered Rupees five as Dakshina to Baba accordingly.
