The great incarnate (Sai) gave many indications as such but nobody could understand the philosophy expressed in His acts. Being in simplest form, Sai Baba gave immense and cosmic implications for all His verbal communication and action. It is up to the devotee to understand the sadgurus’ actions hints and follow them. However, Baba’s words and actions were very simple but it was not easy for us to grasp. It was understood by only the person it was meant for. In this incident by indicating that it is His Seemollanghan, Baba indicated that Seema for Him is His body. The way clothes cover our body our eternal soul is covered by our body. The moment we strip off the body consciousness we will be in touch with the soul. By asking us to tell if He is a Hindu or Muslim He meant that the soul is beyond the confinement of any religion. His anger was directed towards our agyana (ignorance) and inabilty to progress even after taking human birth. No one understands the angst of a gnyani who is moaning for the betterment of all of us. All we tell Him is to put on the clothes back and we drag Him again into Maya and expect Him to guide us within the limitations of Maya itself. When do we go beyond the body & realise the ‘parabrahman’?
How long we’ll be in the clutches of Maya even after taking human birth (which is so close to true realisation)?
When do we understand the inner meaning of the rituals?
Merely following them without applying the real essence of a ritual into practice will only lead us to ‘agnyana’.
