While sculpting the statue Baba appeared, this time in a dream to Talim and clearly told him that his marble statue would be the last that Talim was to sculpt and no more. So, he gave up his activity after the completion of the statue of Baba in the Samadhi mandir and entrusted his work to his son.
As one continues to gaze at Baba’s statue in the Samadhi mandir, one feels that Sai Baba is still alive and sitting and smiling or getting angry or agitated depending on the devotees’ mood. The dictum of the aarti demands that there be an idol or some form of worship. As human being has got a form (body, senses, etc.), it is natural and easy for him to worship the God with form. Our love and devotion do not develop unless we worship Sagun Brahman for a certain period of time, and as we advance; it leads us to the worship (meditation) of Nirgun Brahman
